Enter your track details (title, genre, etc.).
Enter all clients involved in the track in the Client Listing section by clicking “Add Client”. A client can be an individual, group, or company. A new window will open - all editing happens here.
You have the option to click “Copy clients from another track” as a starting point. Client information from the selected track will be populated, and you can edit as needed.
As you add clients, the track title to preview will update accordingly.
Use the search bar to find an existing client (company or artist) or create a new one.
Select the client’s involvement in the track and their alias, the name that will be displayed in stores. More details on crediting artists and contributors can be found here.
Search and link artist profiles for the alias selected on Spotify (required), Apple Music (required), and Soundcloud (required if delivering via the feed). Artist Profiles will only apply to the selected alias.
Add roles for each member (more information on Performer roles, Production roles, and Composition roles). If the same members and roles apply across multiple releases, check “Save group members as default for this client” - this will automatically apply the defaults to all aliases under the client. Group Members will apply to all aliases under the selected client. Across all clients, you must choose at least one role under each category to proceed.
If the client is receiving a share of royalties, select ‘Yes’ and enter the contract account and allocation percentage. Use the Label Allocation to ensure that your royalty splits are accurate.
Repeat steps 2-7 for all clients involved in the track. Each client will appear in the Client Listing. The Track Title Preview will update as you add more clients.
In the Client Listing section, you can also:
Edit Royalties directly on the page.
Choose a royalty template to apply standard allocations
Edit contributor info by clicking 'Edit'
Delete clients with the ‘x’ icon.
Reorder clients using the up/down arrows. This will impact the order shown in stores and the track title preview.
