Pre-allocations let you set royalty splits for each track ahead of time, saving you from re-entering the same info every time you receive royalties or apply expenses. Label Engine will automatically apply these splits when it finds a match by track name, ISRC, or release name. If a match isn’t found, you can quickly search for and apply existing pre-allocations.
This makes the allocation process faster and more accurate. You can even set different pre-allocations by vendor or territory, if needed.
How to Set Pre-Allocations
On the main Distribute Track page, select ‘Accounts’ in the drop down.
When you click ‘Pre-Allocations’, you can view the default split.
In the following section, you are able to edit the default split, create a new one, or apply an existing split.
