Uploading music in to Label Engine is very easy, the system offers a variety of upload methods to choose from.

Upload Methods

Compatible formats: 16 bit 44.1 KHz, 16 bit 48 KHz, 24 bit 44.1 KHz or 24 bit 48 KHz wav, flac, aiff or mp3 files. Only 16 bit 44.1KHz files will be accepted as "Master" to be used for Distribution, others will be marked as "Pre-master”.

The upload method drop down menu is located at the bottom of your release page, under the “ADD TRACKS” section.

Distribution > Your Release > Edit Release

1. Upload files through browser: This is the most common and used method to upload and add music to your releases, this method provides 5 upload slots. (the total size of the 5 uploads can’t exceed a maximum of 300 mb).

2. Upload files using FTP: This is a convenient way to upload multiple files and create releases.

To access this feature please go to Catalogue > FTP Repository

Make sure expand the view so you can see the FTP detailed instructions and log in credentials.

The repository section can be seen as a dropbox where all the uploaded files via the repository will appear and you can easily start creating releases by using the “Build Release” feature, also when deleting tracks from releases they will show on the repository and you can permanently delete them from there.

Every LE account has 4 GB of repository space.

3. Upload file later: This method allows you to create up to 5 tracks metadata and upload the files in a later stage.

Once the metadata is created un you would like to add the files to the tracks, simply edit the track by going to Distribution > Your Release > Edit Release > Edit Track 1

4. Select Track from FTP Repository: This method will become available only if you have files on your FTP repository. Just select the file (s) you want to add to the release.
