In most cases when you receive royalties from a company that has licensed your content for use in compilations, the data will contain their own label name, UPC, ISRC and catalogue number.

To complete your accounting correctly, you will want to assign these royalties to the release and label as you have listed them.

The best way of doing this is to use Label Engine's licensing system. Whenever you add a track to a license, the system will use the license information for suggesting pre-allocations. This works best if you can enter the UPC or Catalogue Number of the release that includes your licensed tracks.

If you have not done this ahead of time, you can open the licensing section within a new window and create the licenses as you are allocating royalties.

If you do not wish to use the licensing section, you will need to allocate royalties manually. Use the pre-allocation of the licensed track and the licensed royalty will automatically be associated with that release within your accounting reports. The next time the system encounters that same royalty it will automatically select that same pre-allocation.

If you are assigning royalties manually, be sure to select the original label. You will then need to enter the grouping section after you have finished allocating the statement to match each of the licensed royalties to the correct track.
