Beatport uses lo-fi previews (128k mono) on their site to ensure quick loading times. Due to the compression used this can sometimes mean the audio is not optimal and may include minor distortions. We have contacted Beatport regarding this on several occasions and have found that re-processing the track has no effect on the quality of the preview.
