Protecting your account is important. 2-Step Verification (also known as two-factor authentication) adds an extra layer of security to your Label Engine account in case your password is ever compromised.

With 2-Step Verification enabled, signing in requires both your password and a temporary verification code.

What Changes After Enabling 2-Step Verification?

Once enabled, signing in to your account will require two steps:

  1. Enter your email address and password

  2. Enter a verification code sent to your chosen authentication method

Do I Need to Enter a Code Every Time I Sign In?

No, after completing the second verification step, you can choose to mark your device as trusted:

  • Trusted device: Verification will be valid for 30 days

  • Untrusted device: Verification will be valid for 1 day

Verification Methods

Label Engine currently supports two verification methods.

Email Verification

How Email Verification Works

When signing in, Label Engine sends a one-time authentication code to the email address associated with your account.

If someone has your password but does not have access to your email inbox, they will not be able to log in.

When Will I Receive the Code?

After entering your password, the system sends the verification code via email from: no-reply@label-engine.com

The subject line will be: “Authentication request for Label Engine”

Depending on your email provider and location, the message may take a few minutes to arrive.

If you do not see the email, please check your spam or junk folder, as some providers may filter automated messages.

Authenticator App

Instead of receiving a code by email, you can use an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) installed on your phone.

These apps generate a 6-digit verification code that refreshes every 30 seconds. This method works without needing internet access or email when signing in.

How to Set Up an Authenticator App

Setting up an authenticator app only requires a one-time setup:

  • Install an authenticator app on your phone

  • Scan the QR code provided in Label Engine

  • Enter the generated code to confirm setup

Once configured, you can use the app to generate login codes whenever you sign in.
